We start things off this week with some chatter on Odin Sphere, the recently remastered PS2 game. Why exactly are we fighting the same bosses five times in this game?
Next up is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, a pretty solid walking simulator with one truly bad section that we can all agree should have been cut out of the game.
Third on the docket is ABZU, the recent free PS Plus game, and a sort of successor to Journey. Yes, this game is essentially an underwater version of Journey, and that’s not necessarily a good thing.
Finally, we close things out by focusing on What Remains of Edith Finch, and covering the game in great deal. Almost certainly one of the best games of 2017, What Remains of Edith Finch is a true evolution of the walking simulator and a towering showcase for what the medium of gaming is capable.
